Family activities at the Textile Museum

At the Textile Museum, there is plenty for children (and adults!) to do and discover.

For those who want to try on clothes or perhaps try a new style, the Try-On wardrobe "Provningsgarderoben" is a must. The wardrobe contains original garments from the different decades of the 20th century. There are many wonderful garments that bring memories to life and a fun activity for several generations together. Many family photos are immortalised here! The clothes are continuously changed and adapted to the seasons or to the themes of the museum's current exhibitions.

Adjacent to the fitting room you will find the Textile Museum's DIY creative oasis for your own creations and crafts. Here you can experiment and make your own mark on clothes, home textiles or anything else that inspires you.

Both activities are available during the museum's opening hours.
