The Textile Museum is located in the Textile Fashion Center, in the old industrial area of Simonsland, where textile production has been taking place for almost 100 years. The museum focuses on fashion, textiles, design, art, the textile industry and innovative textiles. It offers exhibitions, workshops, tours and various activities where you can challenge your own creativity.
The basic exhibition "Textile Shock" tells about textile design from a broad perspective and shows that textiles can be found in many different areas. The museum also has one of Europe's finest collections of textile machinery, some of which is shown in the basic exhibition "Textile Power", which is about the textile industry, then and now.
The museum is also home to other interesting activities such as the Smart Textile Showroom with world-leading textile research and The Company with a restaurant, pub and café. Don't miss the Textile Museum shop, where you'll find products linked to current exhibitions as well as from local textile brands and design companies.

Guided tours at the Textile Museum
