Knektås outdoor area
A multi-sports facility for all ages.
At Knektås open-air area just north of Borås there is something for everyone, regardless of age or previous experience. The outdoor area is a perfect place for families with children who want to experience adventure in the middle of the beautiful nature around Borås, as well as for exercisers. There are several hiking trails, MTB trails, excellent orienteering opportunities and in winter there are ski trails and ski shooting. You can also play paddle tennis, go on a pump track and roller ski here. There is a club house with changing rooms and facilities for showers and saunas.
You can easily get here by car and there is free parking at the GIF cabin. You can also take the bus (line 150) from Borås Resecentrum and get off at the bus stop Tosseryd (Knektåsvägen). Please be aware that it's approximately 2.9 kilometres to walk from the bus stop.

Cross-country trail 2.5 km (in winter the trail is electrified and is used as a ski trail).

All trails are partly hilly and on minor forest roads and paths through pine forest.
