More than just shopping.

A short walk from the city centre, via beautiful Viskan walkway, is the large and well-known shopping area Knalleland. Here you will find around 80 shops, restaurants and supermarkets with something for everyone. If your tummy rumbles, there is plenty to choose from. How about fresh dishes from Café Viskan, juicy burgers from Brödernas or Asian food from Young Thai? Add a cup of coffee at Espresso House and continue your shopping spree.

For many, Knalleland is synonymous with Borås and the area dates back to the heyday of mail order, but there's so much more here today than just shopping and good food. From here it's just a short walk to some of Borås' most famous sights. Extend your visit with a game at Borås Arena. At IF Elfsborg's home arena, dress code yellow is the norm and in the stands, the Guligans, perhaps Sweden's coolest fans, keep the spirits high. Parking is free and it's easy to get around between malls, shops and the stadium.
