Climb in Borås

Borås offers great opportunities for fun and challenging climbing.

Borås has had an enormous development in climbing in recent years. The areas are in constant development and today consist of about 300 sport routes, 70 trad routes and 250 bouldering problems for both beginners and professionals. The largest climbing area, Tosseryd, only 10 minutes from the city centre, has in recent years become widely known and is now visited by both Swedish and international climbers.

Among well-known Swedish climbing professionals, the area Tosseryd in Borås is considered unique and is by far Sweden's best climbing area in terms of the number of fine and well varied sport routes in the easier difficulty levels. Among the 115 sport routes there are also routes up to difficulty level 8.

In addition to Tosseryd, there are eight other areas to climb in Borås.
