Björkehov

Just outside Borås you will find a forest area with great hiking trails.

The nature in the southeastern parts of Borås is fantastic and well worth discovering on foot. There are trail lengths between 2.5 km and 10.4 km where the trails go mostly along cozy forest paths and gravel roads and is suitable for those who want to hike moderate to difficult level trails as there are several hills in the area. All trails are marked with orange reflectors, so you can also run here with a headlamp.

You can bring food and finish the hike with a barbecue at the barbecue area on the hill next to the parking lot.

You can easily get here by car and there is free parking at Björkshovsstugan Granbäcken. You can also take the bus (line 360) from the travel centre and get off at the Skrämbo stop. From there it is about 2.6 kilometres to walk.
