Gallery Get-Together
A festive weekend for art enthusiasts!
On the weekend of September 6–7, 2025, museums and galleries in Borås are hosting a gallery get-together. Nine different museums and galleries will be open on both days, aiming to provide you with a truly festive visit. There will be everything from special exhibitions and musical entertainment to exciting offers and refreshments.

ABECITA POP ART & PHOTO
During Galleri Galej, Abecita invites you to free introductions to its exhibitions, featuring Andy Warhol, street photography, and nature photography, among others. The introductions start at 11:15, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00.
Admission is just 60 SEK for everyone (regular price 150 SEK).
Listen to a storytelling session with classic tales by the Brothers Grimm, held next to David Hockney’s graphic prints. And don’t miss the chance to enter our competition to win a VIP card worth 500 SEK
BORÅS ART MUSEUM
Welcome to open guided tours of Borås Art Museum’s major group exhibition Beyond the Safe Zone at 2:00 PM on September 6 and 7.
THE TEXTILE MUSEUM OF SWEDEN
Welcome to the opening of the exhibition "Do You See Me" on September 6, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Join us for an artist talk with Linea Matei, mingling, a DJ, and bubbles.
On September 7, Linea Matei will give two exhibition introductions at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
GALLERY REVOLT
Galleri Revolt is visited by acclaimed artist Maria Tolstoy Sinclair, who will be present to meet visitors in person. She is currently showcasing her exhibition featuring works that combine emotional energy with decorative elegance.
GALLERY KARLENSTRÖM
Galleri Karlenström presents prints by American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960–1988). Already on Friday, September 5, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, drinks and light refreshments will be served. On Saturday, September 6, at 1:00 PM, there will be a presentation about Jean-Michel and his artwork.
FLAMÉNSKA GALLERIET
Flaménska Galleriet concludes its major exhibition featuring works by Ulla Zimmerman – a beloved artist in Borås, the Sjuhärad region, and far beyond.
If the weather is sunny, the courtyard will be open for relaxation and live guitar music by Göran Carlson.
There will also be the premiere of an exclusive lottery, with a bronze sculpture by Odysseas Pappas as the grand prize.
ÅLGÅRDEN
Exhibition by Ulf Carlsson “Memory Images and Other Notes”, featuring paintings, drawings, sculptures, and books. During Galleri Galej, the studios will also be open to anyone interested.
WÄRENSTAMS
Wärenstams presents the large group exhibition “Reality Still Leaves Its Mark”, featuring political textile art from the 1970s and today. In the Small Gallery, paintings by Ingalill Sjöblom are on display. Open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on September 6 and 7. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
ATELJÉ ALGOTSSON
At Adam Algotsson Paintings, art by Klas Parknäs is on display. In addition, a painting workshop will be held where everyone is welcome to take part in creating a collective artwork.
