Beautiful Torpa Stenhus is privately owned stone house and has been in the same family since the late 15th century. Here you can experience the unique architecture and learn about the castle's exciting history. Several ghosts are said to wander the dark halls of Torpa Stenhus….
You can go on guided tours of the castle, watch the castle theatre or visit markets. During the festive Medieval Days, Torpa Stenhus is filled with jesters, craftsmen, knights and archers. If you can't get enough of the castle, you can spend the night in one of the surrounding buildings.
