Stadsparken - The City Park

A natural part of the locals' everyday life.

The city's green oasis was established in 1899 and has since attracted everyone from couples on romantic picnics to business professionals catching some rays during their lunch. Families with children meet in the large and modern playground, ice cream lovers and diners jam up in the Orangery and friends head to the adventure golf course up on Mariekulle. In winter, you can skate on an illuminated ice rink.

The park also hosts a variety of activities, from park walks to sports events, music and sing-along evenings and dancing to famous dance bands during the summer. Many people visit the City Park to see all the beautiful roses, there are about 60 different varieties, but also many other nice plantings. Here you can follow the changing seasons.
